Parent Consultations provide an effective process for addressing specific issues of concern and difficulty with which parents may be coping.
Parent Consultations are usually about four sessions in length. While they are not a substitute for psychotherapy, they can and do offer effective, focused, well-tested solutions - techniques and approaches that parents can begin implementing immediately toward problem areas.
Parent Consultations can be an excellent alternative for parents who would like help and guidance with specific issues -- without having to commit to a longer-term course of psychotherapy or family counseling.
